Our standard
How we verify every listing.
“Verified” is the whole point of this directory, so here is exactly what it means. Every place earns its place — or it doesn’t get one.
Genuinely naturist — full stop
Before a place is listed, we confirm it is a true naturist destination. We exclude lifestyle (swinger) clubs entirely — not as a tag or a filter, but as a hard rule. If we can’t establish that a venue is genuinely naturist, it doesn’t get listed while we keep checking. That homework is done before you ever see the listing, so you never have to guess what kind of place you’re booking.
Independently checked
Listings are verified against sources the venue doesn’t control: naturist federation records, on-site accounts, and multiple independent references — never just the resort’s own marketing copy. When sources disagree, we keep digging or leave the place out.
Clear on the details
Clothing rules, who’s welcome — families, adults-only — and the amenities that shape a stay are stated plainly on every listing, before you go. If a detail is unknown, we say so rather than guessing.
Rated by Google, not by us
Every rating is pulled from Google reviews — thousands of real visitors, not crowd-sourced opinions we can’t check. We only list places rated 4.0★ and up, we refresh the data regularly, and we never author or edit a score. Independent, hard to game, and always current.
Owner claims are verified
When an owner claims a listing, we confirm the claim by email before they can change anything. Owner-managed listings are labeled, and paid placement — where it exists — is always labeled too. Money never changes a rating or buys a place onto the directory.
Affiliations we recognize
Membership in an established naturist federation is a strong independent signal, so we record it when a venue holds one and you can filter by it. It is never required — plenty of genuine naturist places aren’t federation members.
When a place is removed
Verification isn’t a one-time stamp. If a venue’s rating falls below our floor, its character changes, or credible reports contradict what we verified, the listing comes down while we re-check — and stays down if it no longer qualifies.
